CCCB scholarships and grants are provided by the generosity of individuals who support Central.

Torch Scholarships

Scholarships for highly-qualified students with exceptional intellectual abilities, a heart for service, and dedication to serving the Kingdom.

Full-Tuition Torch Scholarship

Up to full-coverage of tuition & fees

Value: $11,200/year (15 hrs/semester)
($44,800/4 years at 15 hours/semester)

Qualifying requirements:

  • Admission to CCCB at Moberly campus
  • Enrolled full-time in a bachelor's degree
  • Admitted by February 1
  • Minimum of 22 ACT (or 1110 SAT)
  • Minimum 3.50 GPA on 4.0 scale
  • FAFSA filed by February 1

Renewal

  • Renewable each year of continuous enrollment
  • Maintain a minimum CGPA of 3.0

Details:

  • Admission committee will assess eligibility for FTTS candidacy and will extend an invite to qualified students to compete. Finalists are selected and notified by March 1.
  • Students may be asked to submit additional information.
  • Selected candidates come to Moberly campus on interview day, usually the first weekend in March.

President's Torch Scholarship

Up to $4,000/year

Value: Up to $16,000/4 years (15 hrs/semester)


Qualifying requirements:

  • Pursuing an undergraduate degree
  • GPA and, as appropriate, test scores are taken into account (contact your admissions counselor for specifics)

Renewal

  • Renewable each year of continuous enrollment
  • Maintain a minimum CGPA of 3.0

Dean's Torch Scholarship

Up to $2,500/year

Value: Up to $10,000/4 years (15 hrs/semester)


Qualifying requirements:

  • Pursuing an undergraduate degree
  • GPA and, as appropriate, test scores are taken into account (contact your admissions counselor for specifics)

Renewal

  • Renewable each year of continuous enrollment
  • Maintain a minimum CGPA of 2.5

Awarding:

  • Torch Scholarships are awarded to students based on academic credit at the time of admission.
  • Full-Tuition Torch Scholarships are disbursed up to 120 credit hours.

Missouri Resident Scholarships

Access Missouri

Up to $2,850/year


Qualifying requirements (see full list here):

  • US citizen and Missouri resident
  • Enrolled full-time in first undergraduate degree
  • Have less than 150 hours completed
  • FAFSA filed by April 1
  • Have less than 12,000 EFC

Awarding:

  • Scholarship requirements and amounts are determined by the state of Missouri and are not finalized until August of the award year; amounts awarded could change
  • Scholarship is available for up to 10 semesters (at any school)

Renewal:

  • Maintain a minimum CGPA of 2.5

Bright Flight

Up to $3,000/year


Qualifying requirements (see full list here):

  • US citizen and Missouri resident
  • Top 3% of all MO students or to 4th or 5th percentiles of all MO students in the ACT or SAT
  • ACT or SAT completed by June test date following HS graduation
  • Enrolled full-time in first undergraduate degree
  • Enrolling the academic year immediately following high school (or equiv) graduation

Awarding:

  • Scholarship requirements and amounts are determined by the state of Missouri

Renewal:

  • Receive the scholarship at least one semester each academic year immediately following high school graduation
  • Maintain a minimum CGPA of 2.5

CCCB Grants

Visit Grant

$1,000


Qualifying requirements:

  • Junior or senior in  high school
  • Visit Moberly campus

Awarding:

  • Grant is disbursed equally across 4 semesters ($250/semester)

Central Grant

Up to $2,000/year


Qualifying requirements:

  • Student must demonstrate financial need after all aid has been applied to their account

Certification of Outside Scholarships

If you are receiving outside scholarships Central requires the organization to send a written statement to the Financial Aid Office verifying the amount of the award and when the monies from the scholarship will be sent to the school. Or they may fill out the Certification of Outside Scholarship form.
