MOBERLY, MO - After a season of expansion, evaluation, and planning, Central Christian College of the Bible will update its name to Central Bible University, effective June 1, 2026. At the announcement in chapel services on March 3, President David Fincher said, “The updated name of Central Bible University will solidify our unique identity, emphasize our biblical mission, and better represent our work now and in the future.”

Moberly, MO (October 8, 2024) Central Christian College of the Bible (“CCCB”) has received a grant of over $1.2 million from Lilly Endowment Inc. to support the launch of a multi-year collaborative effort to elevate children’s ministry programs in the Christian Churches/Churches of Christ. CCCB’s “VIEW Initiative” will provide training and curriculum to children’s ministry staff and volunteers and devotional resources for parents to use at home.

Moberly, MO (December 8, 2023) - Central Christian College of the Bible (CCCB) has received a grant of $1.22 million from Lilly Endowment Inc. to support a four-year effort to provide resources, consultation, and coaching to individual Christian Churches/Churches of Christ and their leaders. The program is being funded through Lilly Endowment’s Thriving Congregations Initiative. CCCB will deliver the program through the Christian Church Leadership Network (CCL Network), the church services division of CCCB.
