Campus Safety

While we do not have campus security personnel, we do offer an on-duty number (660-998-4102) for students and staff, to be used when staff or RA can not be reached. Also Moberly Police Department makes regular patrol, and all students receive ALICE crisis training during orientation. You may review Central’s Annual Security Report here, or in the Student Services office in Pelfrey Hall.

Prevention Policies (including VAWA and SAVE)

Members of the college community, guests and visitors have the right to be free from sexual violence. All members of the campus community are expected to conduct themselves in a manner that does not infringe upon the rights of others, conforms to Biblical purity, and expresses godly love that does no wrong to others. Central Christian College of the Bible believes in a zero tolerance policy for gender-based misconduct. When an allegation of misconduct is brought to an appropriate administration’s attention, and a respondent is found to have violated this policy, serious sanctions will be used to reasonably ensure that such actions are never repeated.

Students who wish to report a concern or complaint relating to discrimination or harassment may do so by reporting the concern to the College Title IX Coordinator(s.)

Title IX Gender-Based Misconduct Policy

Central Christian College of the Bible does not have security personnel. Campus security authorities (directors, deans, department heads, advisors to students and student organizations, residence hall directors, resident assistants, and athletic coaches) do not have authority to make arrests. All crime is to be reported to the Moberly Police Department (660-263-0346 OR 911 for emergencies) and a College campus security authority. Lucas Reynolds, Associate Director of Student Development, is the point person for the Student Development Office.  She coordinates with the other offices on campus to ensure a student or staff’s complaint is reviewed. Her office is located in Pelfrey Hall, 2nd Floor, Student Development Offices.  Her number is 660-263-3900 ext 155.

Central offers an on-duty number (660-998-4102) for students and staff.  This number is to be only used when a student is not able to reach a staff member or their RA.   The Student Development department oversees campus safety and security. Prompt reporting will assure timely warning notices on-campus. If a crime occurs at a site where a student is at that moment fulfilling his/her Christian Service requirement, internship, or any other educational requirement, the student should report the crime to his/her immediate supervisor who will report the incident to their school representative. The College’s Annual Security Report is available online or in the Student Services office in Pelfrey Hall.
