High School Transcripts
  • Your high school must send completed transcripts complete with graduation date directly to the CCCB admissions department. To help you with this process, you can print out and complete the Transcript Request Form and send it to the high school you graduated from. If you’re still in high school, have your current transcript sent in for us to evaluate in the meantime. A decision can be made using the partial transcript but we will need to receive a final official version once you’ve graduated high school to complete your file.
  • Official copies of a GED or HiSET score can be accepted in lieu of a transcript.
  • Home School students should send in their home school transcripts. If you do not currently have a completed home school transcript, you can use the Home School Transcript Template.
  • If you are a high school student interested in dual-enrollment, you can find that application process listed in the next section.
Test Scores
  • Official copies of your ACT, SAT, or CLT scores must be sent directly to the CCCB Admissions Department.
  • If you have been out of high school for more than 5 years, your test score requirement is waived, but you may be asked for additional supporting academic information.
  • If you were not able to test in recent years and do not have a standardized test score, you may be admitted under our Test-Optional provision for the 2023 enrollment year.
Reference
  • Upon admission and prior to enrollment to Central, you will be asked to provide contact information for one ministerial reference that can verify your current church involvement.

Dual-Enrolled High School Students

We are excited to offer high school students the opportunity to get a jump start on their college experience in a Christian campus environment. Our Dual-Enrollment Program is designed for students who want to get some college preliminaries out of the way while they’re still in high school or for those who want to see if Bible College might be right for them. It doesn’t lock students into a degree program, but it will free them up to quickly get on their chosen path after high school graduation and get into their ideal career sooner rather than later.

To be eligible for dual-enrollment as a high school student, you must meet the following requirements:

  • A sophomore, junior, or senior in high school
  • A minimum 2.75 cumulative GPA

THE PROCESS:

  1. Application
  2. Parental Consent Form
    • We will need to receive parental consent prior to your enrollment. Please send a completed Parental Consent Form to the CCCB Admissions Department.
  3. Official High School Transcripts
    • Your high school must send current transcripts to the CCCB Admissions Department. Complete the Transcript Request Form and have your current transcript sent in.
    • Home School students should send in their home school transcripts. If you do not currently have a completed home school transcript, you can use the Home School Transcript Template.
  4. Identity and Statement of Educational Purpose Form
    • Print out the Identity and Statement of Educational Purpose form and have it completed with a Notary.
      • Notary services are typically provided for free at your local bank, however, can also be taken to your local post office, library, accounting firm, etc.
    • Once completed, have it sent to admissions@cccb.edu.
  5. Ministry Reference
    • Upon admission and prior to enrollment to Central, you will be asked to provide contact information for one ministerial reference that can verify your current church involvement.

If you have any questions about the application process or any of the required steps, please contact the CCCB Admissions Department at 660-263-3900 or email admissions@cccb.edu. Once all necessary documents have been submitted and your application file is complete, you can usually expect to know the outcome of your application in about a week. High school students are not eligible for federal financial aid; however, the cost of taking a class at Central as a high school student is reduced to make this a very affordable opportunity.

International Students

We welcome the opportunity to provide affordable, quality education for international students who desire Christian ministry training. The process of applying as an international student can take a while, so beginning early is essential. We suggest that international students apply six months before their first semester, but no later than April 1st for the Fall Semester, and September 1st for the Spring Semester. The steps you will need to take to become a student at CCCB are detailed as follows:

Required Application Procedures:

These are the documents and pieces that an International applicant may need to supply (depending on student type and application circumstances) in order to complete their application process and be reviewed for admittance. Here’s a checklist to give you an idea of what you need:

  • Complete the application for admission.
  • International Application Fee: Pay the $100 international student application fee. Please note: applications will not be considered for admission without a paid international student application fee.
  • Complete the international student questionnaire.
  • English Language Proficiency: Students from non-English speaking countries must demonstrate proficiency in the English language to be considered for admission. There are a few ways to do this:
    • Duolingo English Test
      Minimum score: 105
The Duolingo English Test is an online English proficiency test that can be taken online, on-demand, in under an hour. The test is taken via a computer with a camera and includes a proficiency score, video interview, and writing sample which are shared with CCCB when you send your results. Certified results are available within 48 hours of the test session.
    • The TOEFL (Test of English as a Foreign Language) exam is for non-English speaking countries only. A minimum paper test score of 500, a minimum computer score of 173, or a minimum internet score of 61 are required for admission consideration. See TOEFL’s website for details on the test. Central’s school code for TOEFL is 6145.
    • Other options include the International English Language Testing System with a score of 5 or higher or a 50 or higher on the Pearson PTE Academic. International students who attended English High Schools do not have to provide a standardized language proficiency score but may be required to interview with the Director of Admissions.
  • Personal Funding Statement & Affidavit of Support (Form I-134): Upon application to Central, the college will need to assess the ability to finance a CCCB education. The United States Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) requires an Affidavit of Support form listing your source(s) of funding for educational and living expenses while a student in the US (your sponsor). In addition, this sponsor or sponsors must be willing to cover all expenses incurred by the student. The supporter must sign the affidavit of support form stating that they are willing to pay this amount. They will also need to provide supporting documentation that demonstrates that they have the ability to pay this amount according to the instructions provided with the form.

Please Note: CCCB does not provide sponsorship for international students, nor do we have any information on any available sponsors.

Send all forms and materials listed above to:

Central Christian College of the Bible
Attn: Admissions Director
911 East Urbandale Drive
Moberly, MO, USA, 65270

Admittance Decisions:

When all of the above documents have been received, the Admissions Department will review the application and a decision regarding admittance will be made. If admission is granted, the following steps in order to obtain a visa and enroll:

Upon Admittance:

  1. Submit your International Fee: Admitted students are required to submit an International Fee to reserve a spot in the classroom and receive an I-20. Once an I-20 and SEVIS receipt are sent to the student, the student is responsible for scheduling a visa interview appointment in the home country to apply for an F-1 visa at the U.S. Embassy. International first-year students pay a $500 USD enrollment fee; International students already on a valid I-20 pay a $300 USD enrollment fee.
  2. Visa Interview: Once the I-20 and SEVIS receipt are received by the student, contact the U.S. embassy or consulate and schedule an interview to apply for an F-1 visa. Applications requiring security clearance can take between 2 and 4 months in addition to the normal processing time. It is best to apply for the student visa as early as possible, but not more than 120 days prior to the start of your program. Go to the Department of State website for current procedures, required forms, and operating hours.
  3. US College Transfer Students: International students currently attending college in the U.S. and desire to transfer to Central must complete all of the above steps required for application. Transfer students will also be required to provide Official Transcripts from all colleges attended. Once an admittance decision has been made, students must complete the International Student School Transfer Certification Form. This step is necessary for international students wishing to transfer from another U.S. college or university.
  4. Church Leader Reference: Upon admission and prior to enrollment to Central, you will be asked to provide contact information for one ministerial reference that can verify your current church involvement.

Please direct all questions about these items to CCCB Admissions Office: admissions@cccb.edu | 888-263-3900
