Student Services

Central’s Student Services team helps students grow academically, spiritually, relationally, and practically for a faithful life of kingdom ministry.

College is about more than getting through classes. At Central, students are surrounded by people, spaces, and opportunities designed to help them become faithful Christian workers in the ministry, the marketplace, and the mission field.

Student Development Suite

The Student Development Suite is located on the second floor of Pelfrey Hall. It is a natural place to ask questions, connect with staff, hear about campus opportunities, and find support while learning how to thrive in college.

Students also use the suite as a place to pause between classes, catch up with friends, and stay connected to what is happening on campus and in the community. Periodic snacks, helpful information, and friendly faces make it an easy place to feel known and supported.

What Students Find Here

  • Student life support and guidance
  • Campus involvement opportunities
  • Local event and service information
  • A welcoming place to connect between classes

Student-Led Ministries

Central students are not expected to wait until after graduation to begin serving. Student-led ministries give students room to recognize their gifts, respond to real needs, and practice faithful leadership while they are still being trained.

Students may petition to lead ministry efforts that serve the campus, local community, and surrounding region. Past examples have included visiting nursing homes, caring for people experiencing homelessness, peer-to-peer training for practical ministry skills, and creating new ways to encourage the church and serve the kingdom.

Ministry Starts Here

Student-led ministry opportunities help students move from classroom learning to lived faith as they practice initiative, teamwork, and servant leadership.

Walton Student Center

The Walton Student Center is one of the main places where students build friendships, study together, relax after class, and enjoy campus life. With open gathering spaces, games, TVs, and flexible areas for groups, it gives students a place to belong outside the classroom.

The Student Center is also home to The Central Cafe, a favorite stop for coffee, conversation, and study sessions. Whether students need a place to recharge, meet with friends, or spend time between classes, the Student Center helps make campus feel like home.

Campus Life

No student at Central has to face a difficult season alone. Student Services works alongside faculty, administrators, academic leaders, financial aid staff, and trusted local resources to help students find the right kind of support when they need it.

Academic Support

Students can receive academic guidance through the Vice President of Academics, Registrar, faculty advisors, and student tutors as they plan courses, work through challenges, complete assignments and projects, and stay on track toward graduation.

Central helps students think carefully about calling, ministry, career direction, and practical next steps.

Financial Guidance

Students can receive help navigating financial questions through the Business Office and the Financial Aid Office.
