Campus spaces designed for learning, worship, community, and everyday student life.
Central’s campus keeps the spaces students use most within a short walk of each other: classrooms, chapel, dining, housing, study areas, recreation, athletics, and student support. Whether students are heading to class, grabbing coffee, studying with friends, or settling into residence life, these facilities help campus feel connected, practical, and personal.
Pelfrey Hall
Pelfrey Hall is the largest and most recognizable building on campus. Named for Professor Emeritus Lloyd Pelfrey, one of Central’s founding faculty members and a longtime president, the building serves as the academic and daily-life hub of campus. Inside, students find classrooms, offices, the gymnasium, dining spaces, athletics support, and several of the places they use most throughout the week.
Ferneau Center
The Ferneau Center serves as both gym and auditorium, hosting weekly chapel services, Saints basketball games, special banquets, and major campus gatherings. Its display of international flags also reflects the students who come to Central from around the world.

Dining Hall
The dining hall gives students a regular place to eat, connect, and build community throughout the week. Meals include a variety of options such as salad and dessert bars, themed meals, special entrees, and carved-to-order meats.

Classrooms
Pelfrey Hall gives students a convenient academic home close to offices, dining, chapel, and other campus spaces. Classrooms include wireless Internet, presentation technology, comfortable seating, and access to power for student devices.

Student Development Office
The Student Development suite is a key stop for support, campus life, residence hall questions, student-led ministry opportunities, and ways to get involved. It helps students find guidance and practical help as they settle into life at Central.

Strength & Fitness Room
Students, staff, and athletes have access to a well-maintained workout room with weights, cardio equipment, exercise bikes, chest press machines, bench presses, and other options for staying active.

Athletics Department
Central’s Athletics Department supports student-athletes in men’s soccer, men’s basketball, women’s basketball, women’s volleyball, and shotgun sports. The department helps athletes grow through teamwork, discipline, personal development, and the challenge of balancing academics and athletics.

Student Housing
Residence life is one of the most formative parts of the Central experience. Students live close to classes, chapel, dining, friends, mentors, and campus events, making everyday life feel deeply connected. Each residence hall includes secure building access through keycard or passcode systems, along with personal locks for individual rooms.

Lang Hall
Lang Hall gives students a straightforward, close-knit place to land after class, chapel, practice, work, or a long day of study. It is built for the kind of everyday rhythm many students are looking for: a room to reset, a floor where people know your name, and a lobby where conversation, games, and late-night laughter can turn strangers into brothers.
The lounge gives Lang residents room to unwind together with seating, board games, a large HD television, cable, a DVD player, and Wi-Fi throughout the building. It is a practical home base for students who want community nearby without losing the ability to step away and recharge.
Spurling Hall
Spurling Hall offers a comfortable, welcoming residence life setting where students can settle in, build friendships, and find support close to the center of campus. Its renovated spaces, central air, natural light, and wheelchair lift help make the hall feel accessible, cared for, and easy to call home.
The lounge gives residents a shared place for conversation, encouragement, games, movies, and quiet moments between the busier parts of student life. With seating, an HD television, cable, a DVD player, and Wi-Fi throughout the hall, Spurling is designed to help students feel connected and at ease.
Foundation Hall
Foundation Hall is Central’s newest residence hall and offers the greatest range of housing options, including traditional residence hall units, dorm suites, and apartments. Every Foundation Hall unit includes its own private bathroom, giving residents more personal space and a more independent daily routine.
Dorm suites and apartments also include kitchens, making Foundation a strong fit for students who are ready for a more apartment-style experience while still staying connected to campus life. Apartments are available by application to students who meet eligibility requirements, including older students, married couples, and families.
Reese Resource Center
Named for Professor Emeritus Gareth L. Reese, one of Central’s founding faculty members, the Reese Resource Center brings together study, research, academic support, and campus resources in one convenient location. It includes the library, comfortable study areas, tutoring and test-proctoring support during the academic year, and an adjoining Christian bookstore.
Library
The library gives students a quiet place to read, research, study, and work between classes. Students can use desks, tables, rooms, and research materials while also accessing learning support services that help them stay on track academically.

Bookstore
The bookstore serves the Moberly campus and the surrounding region with Bibles, books, gifts, apparel, Saints gear, and resources for Christian study and encouragement. Students also benefit from the Textbook Lending Program and can stop in for school spirit items and everyday supplies.

Walton Student Center
The Walton Student Center is built for the moments between classes: coffee runs, study groups, games, conversations, movie nights, and the kind of everyday memories that make campus life feel like home.
The Central Cafe
College life needs coffee, and The Central Cafe is ready for study sessions, hangouts, and a quick favorite drink between classes. Partnered with Kaldi’s, the cafe gives students a welcoming place to fuel up or slow down.

Recreation
The Student Center gives students plenty of ways to relax, including pool tables, ping pong, lobby TVs, and a big-screen theater. It is an easy place to unwind, meet people, and spend time with friends.

Collaborative Spaces
Study groups, discipleship groups, and friends all use the Walton Student Center’s flexible spaces. Whether students are working on homework, talking through big questions, or playing games after a long day, the space is designed to be shared.
