Dr. Rawlings earned a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology (’85) and his early career was as the minister for the Jacksonville Church of Christ in Jacksonville, IL for eleven years. He has a M. Div. from Lincoln Christian Seminary (’96) and also attended Sunset International Bible Institute (’87) in Lubbock, TX. He then returned to school to earn an M.D. (2004) and currently serves as Program Director for the General Surgery residency program at UMC.
He and his wife, Paula, are members of Forum Christian Church, where he serves as an elder and a teacher. He is a member of the CCCB Admission and Governance/Executive committees.
He wrote, “I am drawn to serve CCCB primarily because of the mission to develop servant-leaders for the church. CCCB shares my passion for helping people know God and I want to support CCCB’s efforts in training and education to provide workers for the kingdom.”
