National Youth Leader Volunteer Training

Last year Download Youth Ministry founders, Doug Fields and Josh Griffin, piloted an event called the National Day of Volunteer Youth Ministry Training

This is a conference-level training event that takes place in hundreds of cities across North America.

Here are the details:

  • 3-hour volunteer training event via video
  • TED Talk-style training from the leading voices in youth ministry
  • One, low price to train all your volunteers
  • Youth ministries across North America gathered their volunteers to learn together on a Saturday morning

Something really special happened — 20,000 volunteers were trained at over 300 host sites. The best part was that the response was amazing! All that to say, 2020 is shaping up to be even better!

CCCB is hosting this year and we want to personally invite you and your volunteers to join us at the National Day of Volunteer Youth Ministry Training on September 19, 2020, 9am-12pm! Our heart is to train and equip every youth worker in North America.

We will pass along more details on speakers and other items as we get closer to the event itself, but we will provide snacks, a venue, and the content. You, and all your volunteers, get all of this for one flat rate of $129 (register by August 31 to get this rate). You pay one, low price no matter if you have 2 volunteers or 25, or you if are a volunteer yourself. This is a great way to get some fantastic content and a chance to connect with your team. We would love to host you, so bring your leaders, volunteers and all that are interested in the next generation.

Thanks for all you do for students in your church. We believe in you and want to help you and your volunteers win!

Notice on COVID-19

We hope you are staying safe during this pandemic. Enclosed you will find a poster advertising fall events to be held at Central Christian College of the Bible in Moberly, Missouri. Even though we know that not everyone can come that would like to, we still would like to make the events available for those who would like to attend.

CCCB has precautionary measures in place to prevent the spread of COVID-19 and keep our students, faculty, staff, and visitors safe.

  • Anyone exhibiting symptoms of illness are asked to schedule a visit when they’re healthy; In most cases, events will also be available through live stream.
  • Visitors that have known contact with someone who has tested positive for COVID-19 within 2 weeks of the visit should not visit campus at least 14 days after the known exposure.
  • Masks are strongly encouraged when visiting campus.
  • All visitors will have their temperatures checked with a touchless thermometer upon arrival to campus. Anyone with a temperature of 100.4 or above will be notified and asked to distance themselves during the event.
  • CCCB will continue to clean and sanitize, especially high-touch areas on campus. Hand sanitizer will be available for use.

These measures are in light of current guidance given by the Randolph County Health Department to keep our campus community as safe as possible. These guidelines will continuously be reviewed as we continue to monitor pandemic information from the Center for Disease Control (CDC) and receive recommendations from the Randolph County Health Department. They are subject to change as the situation may require it.

If it becomes necessary to cancel any of these events, we will notify those who have registered and will offer a full refund.
