Educational Opportunities for Cincinnati Christian University Students

OVERVIEW

Our Mission: We exist to develop servant-leaders for the church.

Our Vision: Dedicated Disciples who know God’s Word and serve His Kingdom.

Accreditation: Central Christian College of the Bible is nationally accredited through the Association of Biblical Higher Education, recognized by the U.S. Department of Education.  Eligible students can receive Title IV Federal Student Aid, including PELL grants. (cccb.edu/about.) 

Features: Our student body (approximately 200 students) experience small class sizes, direct contact with program directors, personalized advising, and various options for student involvement and success.

There are two paths that students may follow in order to achieve our mission and vision:

Church Ministry Careers

The curriculum consists of Biblical studies, general studies, and professional studies with a required field education experience. CCCB offers a variety of associate and bachelor’s degrees in these areas:

  • Cross-Cultural Ministry
  • Preaching Ministry
  • Worship Ministry
  • Youth & Family Ministry

Marketplace Ministry Careers

Accredited universities provide CCCB students a faith-driven curriculum for marketable skills. You earn a Bachelor of Religious Studies degree from CCCB and a bachelor’s degree from our partner school.

Hope International University

Programs in Business Administration, Teacher Preparation, Criminal Justice, Human Resources, and Interdisciplinary Studies.

Indiana Wesleyan University

Marion, Indiana • (www.indwes.edu)

Programs in Human Services, Addictions Counseling, Healthcare Administration, Hospitality Management, and Early Childhood Management.

Notes:

  • Partnership program courses are taken online while all other courses are taken in the classroom. 
  • You pay the same tuition for these programs while living on our campus in a Christian community.
  • Student-athletes retain eligibility in dual-enrollment if satisfactory academic health is maintained.
  • You can also transfer career courses from other institutions into a BRS degree at CCCB.

ENROLLMENT OPTIONS FOR SPRING 2020

Depending on your program and academic level, we can help you earn your degree if you enroll now.

If your degree program is in a Ministry Career:

Cincinnati Extension

You can remain in the Teaching Church program with your other courses taught onsite and online.

CCU housing is available.

Moberly Campus

You can study in our classrooms, receive a Full-Tuition Scholarship, and participate in sports and campus activities.

 

Programs are available for other careers through regionally accredited university partnerships,

Online Education

You can complete your ministry degree with online courses and pay $295 per credit hour.

Reverse Transfer

An advisor will help you select CCCB courses to meet your requirements.

If your degree program is in a Another Career:

Cincinnati Extension

Non-ministry career programs will not be supported at the Cincinnati extension site of CCCB.

Moberly Campus

You can study in our classrooms, receive a Full-Tuition Scholarship, and participate in sports and campus activities.

 

Programs are available for other careers through regionally accredited university partnerships,

Online Education

You can complete a BRS degree by transferring your CCU credits and other credits to CCCB.

Reverse Transfer

An advisor will help you select CCCB courses to meet your requirements.

Central Christian College of the Bible will accept your CCU credits if you meet these academic standards:

  • Under 30 credits: 1.70 cumulative GPA
  • 30+ credits earned: 2.00 cumulative GPA

COST OF ATTENDANCE

We are committed to providing CCU students like you with affordable options to earn their degrees.

Term

Spring 2020
  • You will pay $295 per credit hour for online courses.
  • If you become a residential student on Full-Tuition Scholarship, your semester cost will be $6,700.
  • You will pay $295 per credit hour for your online courses, teaching church courses, and extension site courses.
2020-2021
  • You will pay $275 per credit hour for online courses.
  • Full-Tuition Scholarship students will maintain out-of-pocket costs for the rest of their enrollment.
  • This amount will be determined by January 2020 and communicated to you as soon as it is available.
(We will attempt to honor your current out-of-pocket price at CCU for Fall 2019 if you transfer to CCCB.)

ABOUT OUR CAMPUS 

We are located on a quiet, safe, 40-acre residential campus in Moberly, Missouri, a community of almost 14,000, located between the metropolitan areas of St. Louis and Kansas City. Moberly is a bedroom community of Columbia (home of the University of Missouri). Our community welcomes students like you from around the country to be their neighbors, employees, and customers.
