Why just try to survive, when God created you to THRIVE?
THRIVE is the theme for InFocus 2010. We are very excited about what you will experience and learn. The book of Daniel offers some powerful suggestions on how to THRIVE for the Kingdom’s sake. In these two days you will understand more clearly from the person of Daniel just what it means to thrive. Students will have two main sessions led by Rory Christensen, Central’s Youth and Ministry Faculty member. He will illuminate the story of Daniel so the students can understand more clearly, be more convicted spiritually, and be more solidly founded.
Each main session includes worship and a message on the life of Daniel. In addition to the sessions, InFocus 2010 will have “Breakouts” where participants learn to thrive. Breakouts will add depth to the teens’ relationships with the Lord and challenge them in a positive way to THRIVE as followers of Christ.
Breakout! sessions will include:
• Thriving in Relationships – Regina Green, Assoc. Prof. of Christian
Counseling, CCCB
• Thriving Online (Social Networking) – Nikomas Perez, Student Minister, HCC
• Thriving in Sports – Jason Lykins, Men’s Basketball Coach, CCCB
• Thriving in a Global Community –Michael Curtice, Professor of Missions and
Ministry, CCCB
