Central Christian College of the Bible Scholarship Application

In addition to the Full-Tuition Scholarship, Central is proud to offer four additional Scholarships. These Scholarships were provided by the generosity of individuals who support Central in its endeavor to develop servant-leaders for the church. All recipients of the scholarship must demonstrate Christian character, growth, and leadership abilities. Recipients must be seeking a bachelor's degree from Central.

The LINCOLN SCHOLARSHIP is in honor of Roy F. Lincoln to recognize the leadership and Service he gave to Central Christian College in the 34 years he served on the College's Board of Directors. The recipient of this scholarship must demonstrate financial need, be a junior or senior student, have at least a 2.0 GPA, and be a member in good standing in a Restoration Church.  Application due June 1st of each year.  

The "GO YE" SCHOLARSHIP was established by Tom & Margery Plumb to encourage Central's international students to continue their plans to work in a mission activity after graduation. The recipient should be an international student who is an immersed believer, had two previous years of training at CCCB, plan to work in a mission activity after graduation, have at least a GPA of 2.0, and be a member of good standing in a Restoration Church.  Application due June 1st of each year.

THE KENNY BURGUS MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP was established by the Burgus family in memory of 23 year old Kenny Burgus who died as a result of an ATV accident.  The scholarship recipient should be a junior or senior male student who is pursuing a 4 year degree in Cross Cultural, Preaching, or Youth and Family Ministry from Central Christian College of the Bible.  The recipient shall maintain a cumulative GPA of 2.0, and regularly attend a Restoration Christian Church/Church of Christ.  Application due June 1st of each year.

THE ROGER O WILLIAMS MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP was established to help preaching majors  buy textbooks or other preaching resources.  The recipient should be a junior or senior student who is preaching major.  The recipient shall maintain a cumulative GPA of 2.75.  The scholarship can be used at Central’s bookstore, Amazon.com, or Logs.com.  Scholarships used at the bookstore will be given in the form of a voucher.  All purchases must be made at one time.  Purchases are limited to books in print or electronic versions.  All purchases are subject to approval by the committee.  Amazon or Logos resources must be approved in advance.  The scholarship will be granted for the amount of the purchase which must be verified with a receipt within 30 days.  Please complete the scholarship application to apply.  Application is due June 1st of each year.

THE SUPPORTING CHURCH SCHOLARSHIP  is available for students who are active members of a church that supports Central may receive a Supporting Church Scholarship worth up to $1,000.  The scholarship in the amount of $250 may be awarded up to four semesters.  Students may receive this scholarship for a semester if their church's giving to Central was at least $1,200 in the prior 12 months.  Recipients must write a thank-you note to the supporting church in order for the scholarship to be credited to their account. 

HONORS SCHOLARSHIPS are for incoming students with a 25 ACT and a 3.5 GPA.  These scholarships range from $500 to $4,500 per semester for four years.  Applications are to be submitted by March 31st of each year.
