We welcome the opportunity to provide sound, affordable, and Christian higher education to students from all over the world. The process of becoming an international student can take a while, so starting the process early is essential. We suggest that students apply six months before your first semester, but no later than May 20th for the Fall Semester, and October 10th for the Spring Semester.

The steps you will need to take to become a student at CCCB are detailed as follows:

1.  Complete and submit your application package:

Your application package includes the following forms and materials. All of these forms and materials MUST be completed and sent to us together in one package for your application to be considered.  Here is a checklist to help you make sure you have all the required documents in order to submit your application.

2.  International application: Download and print the CCCB International Application Form.  Attach a photocopy the inside page (with your picture and name) of your passport.

3.  Affidavit of Support Form: Download the form here.

The United States Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) requires that you submit an Affidavit of Support form (form i-134) listing your source of funding for your schooling and living expenses while you are a student in the US (your sponsor). The USCIS further requires that this sponsor be a US citizen. In addition, this sponsor, or sponsors, must be willing to cover all expenses incurred by the student. This includes tuition as there are conditions to be maintained for the full-tuition scholarship and therefore it is possible that tuition would be due by the student as well. We have calculated the annual expenses for a full time on campus student at $19,957.00 per year. The annual expenses for a full time off campus student are calculated at $26,975.00 per year. These are the amounts that will be asked of your supporter(s) to be willing to pay if necessary. The supporter must sign the affidavit of support form stating that they are willing to pay this amount. They will also need to provide supporting documentation that demonstrates that they have the ability to pay this amount according to the instructions provided with the i-134 form. This is very important. You cannot be accepted as a student at CCCB without a US based sponsor.

CCCB does not provide sponsorship for international students, nor do we have any information on any available sponsors.

4.  Personal Funding Statement: Download the CCCB Personal Funding Statement for International Applicants (On Campus or Off Campus).

5.  TOEFL Results: The TOEFL (Test of English as a Foreign Language) is for non-English speaking countries only. We can only accept students with a minimum paper test score of 500, a minimum computer score of 173, or a minimum Internet score of 61. See TOEFL's website at www.toefl.org for details on the test. Central's school code for TOEFL is 6145. Central also accepts a score of 5 or higher on the IELTS (International English Language Testing System) available at www.ielts.org.

6.  Educational Records: We will need your high school and college transcripts.  Transcripts from high school and colleges attended outside the United States must be submitted through an evaluation service.  CCCB does not recommend any particular service, but will accept evaluations from any service recognized by NACES.

7.  References: Have two non-relatives fill out the Ministerial Reference Form. Mail these to the CCCB Admissions Department.

8.  $100 (US) Application Fee: The CCCB Admissions department will not review an application until the $100 (US) application fee has been paid. Send all forms and materials listed above along with the $100 to:

CCCB Mailing Address:
Central Christian College of the Bible
Attn: Admissions Director

Moberly, MO, USA, 65270

9.  Acceptance: Wait for your acceptance reply.

10.  F1 Student School Transfer Certification Form: Download and print this form after you have been accepted. This step is necessary only if you are an international student wishing to transfer from another U.S. college/university.

(International students currently enrolled in a college in the United States is also required to send a Good Standing Form from all colleges attended in the US.)

11.  Reservation Fee: If you are accepted you will need to submit a Reservation Fee of $500.00 to reserve your spot at CCCB and receive your I-20 form.

With your reservation fee, please provide the address where you would like your I-20 form sent. Once you receive the I-20 and SEVIS receipt, you will need to schedule a visa interview.

12.  Schedule a Visa Interview: After you have finished the application process, been accepted, and paid your reservation fee, contact the U.S. embassy or consulate closest to you and schedule an interview to apply for an F-1 Visa. Applications requiring security clearance can take between 2 and 4 months in addition to the normal processing time. It is best to apply for your student visa as early as possible, but not more than 120 days prior to the start of your program. Go to the Department of State website for current procedures, required forms, and operating hours.
