Located approximately 70 miles east of Moberly on U.S. 24, Hannibal-LaGrange University is a four-year liberal arts college accredited by the Higher Learning Commission of the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools. A Southern Baptist institution, HLG provides students an opportunity to earn a bachelor's degree in the following areas: Education (Early Childhood, Elementary, Secondary), Accounting, Administration of Justice, Art, Biology, Business Administration, Christian Theatre, Communication Arts, Computer Information Systems, English, History, Human Services, Mathematics, Organizational Management, Psychology, and Speech Communication.
Students wanting to pursue a major from HLG can enroll at Central first in a Bachelor of Religious Studies degree. After 5 semesters of study at Central, the student transfers to HLG and completes the second bachelor's requirements in 5 more semesters for most majors (secondary education may take 6 semesters). Coursework at HLG is then transferred back to CCCB to complete the requirements for the student's Bachelor of Religious Studies degree here. Application for enrollment at HLG needs to be made in the fall of the student's sophomore year at Central. The Full-Tuition Scholarship at Central does not apply to the student's credits at HLG.
