Moberly is located in north-central Missouri. At the intersection of U.S. 63 and U.S. 24, only 90 miles from Iowa and 70 miles from Illinois, with a population of 13,000, the community provides a friendly atmosphere with numerous student job opportunities. Other educational opportunities in the immediate area are provided by Moberly Area Community College and extension campuses of William Woods University and Columbia College. Halfway between St. Louis and Kansas City on Interstate 70 is the city of Columbia, the home of the University of Missouri. Moberly is about thirty-five miles north of Columbia on US Highway 63.

Central's campus is located on 40 acres in the southeastern part of Moberly. Moberly High School and Zion Lutheran Church are adjacent to the College’s campus. To find the campus, take US Highway 63 to Moberly and exit at Route M/Urbandale Drive. Follow the signs west one-mile and the campus is on the right side of the street.
Central’s campus features seven buildings and two outdoor athletic fields. Pelfrey Hall contains the dining hall, gymnasium, offices, and classrooms. Reese Resource Center, completed in 2001, contains the library and bookstore. Lang Hall is the men’s residence hall and Spurling Hall is the women’s residence hall. North of Pelfrey Hall is the maintenance facility. Built in 2004, Mabee Foundation Hall, houses both men and women on separate floors. The Walton Student Center opened in Fall 2010 to provide a place for Central’s student body to fellowship and relax together.
